This technology is amazing and makes servicing easy. This thing takes ALL the boost.
I went with this 3" o-ring/v-band quick release over the other brands because it was about a 1/4 of the price. That being said, the coupler does spin freely, which scared me at first because I thought it would leak under boost pressure. However, it proved me wrong and the o-rings and seal ring work really well. I will really test this when I turn the boost up to 15-18 lbs!! Also, this welded onto my throttle body very nicely. Quality material for sure!!
Great quality worked great good alternative to a v band
Fits perfect. Keeps pipes sealed under boost. I was a bit skeptical at first, but after installing it, I’m really impressed with the performance. The quick-release mechanism makes it super easy to remove and reattach when needed, without any leaks.
I used 3 of these on my 6.0 Powerstroke, and they are awesome to use. Extremely comparable to Vibrant clamps and much more affordable. They easily hold up to 55 PSI of boost. The slight flex is perfect for fit-up and heat expansion during use. These clamps are a great, reliable choice for anyone looking for high-quality performance.
