📝Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How to use this tool?

A:

  1. Remove the carrier from the axle assembly by unscrewing the bolts. Take note that there are shims in this section, so be careful not to damage them.
  2. On both sides, take out the old inner seals. The tubes should then be cleaned of any dirt.
  3. Put the new seal on the puck. Then place the seal and the tool in the differential and tighten the nut until the seal is in place.
  4. Install the seal on the other side by repeating the previous steps.

    Great Deal

This tool was used to replace a seal on a 1984 Jeep CJ7. It worked perfectly. It's a lot better than making one yourself. This is a great deal.

    Must Have

Get this tool if you're doing your front axle seals. It took a little time to line up the seals before starting to tighten the seal tool, but it was done in minutes and they were absolutely tight.
