When you dont want to pull out that behemoth double-stage this is a great go-to for a quick clean up. Obviously it is not meant for a blizzard that dropped eight inches, but during a normal Minnesota year (not all this ridiculous snow) it is freaking awesome.

While I was skeptical about how helpful this lightweight snow mover would be I was pleasantly surprised overall. First, it was a breeze to put together. The battery arrived nearly fully charged, the instructions were clear and easily understandable. (And DO read them!)

Purchased this product because while I do have a full sized snow blower, we tend to have more 1 to 6 inch snowfalls than anything more. Too small for the full-sized and the amount of step, walkway and driveway that still needs to be cleared, too much for a broom. This snow blower fits perfectly for the smaller jobs. It's lightweight, easy to operate and the battery life, at least for me, more than adequate (takes me about 30 minutes to clear everything, battery still had power). That said, I would still recommend a second back-up battery, just in case. The only issue I found was that the batter has no positive lock. You just slide it onto the guide rails and push it into the connector on the unit. Easy on, but that also is an easy off. I had the battery graze the top rail of my railing as I was clearing my steps and it pulled out and dropped into the snow on the side of the stairs. Not a big deal, not enough to cost it a star in my opinion as awareness of the issue overcomes it, but a simple battery lock would be appreciated.

This is an incredibly handy little tool. Its great for decks and sidewalks. Easy to maneuver. Have to work a little harder (use in levels) in heavy wet snow but this machine can get the job done! As another reviewer said, youve got to realize what youre buying: this is not a full snowblower, but it certainly does a great job for its purpose!

It just came today, but I live north of Chicago, & we just got hit with a storm, so it came out of the box and straight into the snow. Assembly was easy, but one of the screws didn't line up. I feel that was because of the frigid cold, but it did not affect my ability to use it. The battery came fully charged. I went right outside and started throwing snow. I wouldn't say threw 20' but at least 10'. It does shoot straight ahead, so plan accordingly, and don't plow into the wind. We had over 6", so I took the advice and plowed in levels. That seemed to work well. My only complaint, so far, and what is keeping me from 5 stars, is because the length is to short. I feel hunched over a lot. I wish it were adjustable. I am sure it will get more use this winter, and I will update if I feel the need.
